BEFORE YOUR TAN

  • Please shower 4 hours or more before your appointment

  • Exfoliate with a non-oil-based scrub and exfoliating glove or cloth

  • Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment

  • Show up to your appointment with bare skin; no lotions, deodorant, oils, makeup, or perfume on the skin. I understand Colorado is dry, so you may apply body lotion at least 8 hours before your tan if you wish, allowing it to soak in fully before your tan

  • Your spray tan should be the last of your beauty services after hair, mani/pedis, waxing, facials, massages, etc

DURING YOUR TAN

  • Show up to your appointment with loose, dark clothing

  • Disposable hair nets, nippie covers, and thongs will be available, or you may go fully nude if you wish!

  • I will customize your tan to you, and discuss skin type and tone, and desired color outcome

  • I will finish your tan with full-body setting powder, minimizing stickiness and color transfer to your clothes while your tan develops

AFTER YOUR TAN

  • Wear loose, dark clothing, and sandals or loose shoes (no socks please) throughout the development time of your tan. Skip the bra or any other tight clothing that might rub on your tan

  • Don’t touch your tan during development

  • Avoid showering, swimming, or working out/sweating for at least 10-12 hours after you rinse

  • If your tan is developing overnight while sleeping, wear loose, long sleeves and pants to bed to avoid skin-on-skin contact

  • After you shower off the spray tan solution, keep your skin moisturized! Avoid oil-based products that will strip the tan. My favorite spray tan-safe moisturizer is Ceravé (the blue and white pump bottle)!

  • Excessive showers, hot tubbing and swimming, shaving, washing of the face/hands, and working out will fade your spray tan faster

  • Yes, Go-Go Glow is 100% mobile! I travel to you in the comfort of your home in Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass, & Aspen. Travel fees apply to those in Basalt, Snowmass, & Aspen. Check out my Services page for pricing.

  • Get the same beautiful glow that you would from the sun or a tanning bed, without all the harmful UV rays.

  • Your spray tan will last 7 - 10 days with the proper pre- and post-care. Use a tan extender to prolong the life of your spray tan for 3 - 4 more days.

  • No orange here! Go-Go Glow provides a complementary consult before the appointment and customizes each spray tan to provide the perfect shade for each individual person.

  • I recommend doing a trial spray tan one month before your big day to ensure you receive the perfect glow that you’re happy with. This will provide us with enough time to perfect anything needing fixed. You will get your final tan 2 - 3 days before the event.

  • Yes, you will still need to wear sunscreen after receiving your spray tan. Spray tans do not help protect your skin from UV rays. Make sure to wear an oil-free sunscreen to help prolong the life of your tan!

  • Cancellation Policy: 100% of the service cost for your appointment will be charged to your credit card on file if you cancel within 12 hours or less of your appointment time.

    Late Policy: If you are 10 minutes late to your appointment upon my arrival, I will have to cancel your appointment and you will be charged 100% of your service costs.
